Afrika migrációs politikájának alakulása. Fókuszban Nyugat-Afrika

A migrációs és menekültválság változásokat hozott az Európai Unió mig-rációhoz való hozzáállásában. A migráció hatékonyabb kezelése érdekében az EU szoro-sabb együttműködést próbált kialakítani a kibocsátó országokkal, főként az olyan, már meglévő szerződéses vagy stratégiai kereteken belül, mint az európai szomszédságpoli-tika, vagy az EU–Afrika közös stratégia. Ez utóbbi a teljes afrikai kontinensre kiterjed, és rendszeres csúcstalálkozóival ideális fórum a migráció kezelésének megvitatására az afri-kai partnerrel, az Afrikai Unióval. Európaiként ismerős számunkra a migráció EU-s megkö-zelítése, az afrikai érvrendszert azonban kevesen ismerik. A szerző célja ennek az érzékeny témának afrikai szemszögből való ismertetése, különösen az Afrikai Unió politikájának és ezen belül is a nyugat-afrikai gondolkodásnak a bemutatása. Jelen tanulmányában Malival és Nigerrel foglalkozik, későbbi írásaiban pedig a többi nyugat-afrikai országot igyekszik majd fókuszba állítani. Az afrikai gondolkodás megértése rávilágít a két konti-nens közötti különbségekre a migráció megítélésének szempontjából, amely segíthet a migráció európai kezelésére tett törekvések hatékonyabbá tételében.
