Az elrettentés 70 éve a hidegháború kezdetétől napjainkig

A modern geopolitikai környezetben és a hagyományos fegyveres konfliktus ismételt európai megjelenésének – ami az orosz–ukrán háborúban öltött testet –, hatásaként az elrettentés kérdése újra előtérbe került. Az elrettentés stratégiái, amelyek már a hidegháborús időszakban is központi szerepet játszottak, mára egyre árnyaltabb formákat öltöttek, jellegük pedig a különböző állami és nem állami szereplők által jelentett fenyegetésekhez igazodik. A közvetlen és a kiterjesztett elrettentés aktívan befolyásolja a nemzetközi kapcsolatok dinamikáját, valamint komoly hatást gyakorol a NATO-ra mint védelmi szövetségre is. A tanulmány célja, hogy rávilágítson az elrettentés elméleteinek történetére, azok fejlődésére és változásaira, valamint vizsgálja az elrettentés jövőbeni lehetőségeit.
