Abstract

The Russian-Ukrainian war proved that one of the defining elements of modern warfare is aerial warfare fought with drones. Even before the outbreak of the conflict, the Hungarian Defence Forces have begun to put into service modern fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. One of the first stages of this development process is the regularization and operational application of the Skylark I-LEX unmanned aerial vehicle, manufactured by the Israeli Elbit Systems Ltd. company group.
