Az orosz–ukrán háború bebizonyította, hogy a modern hadviselés egyik meghatározó eleme a drónokkal vívott légiháború. Oroszország kezdeti hátrányát ledolgozva modern kamikaze drónokat vetett harcba 2023 tavaszán. Ezeknek az intelligens eszközöknek első képviselője az orosz ZALA cégcsoport által kifejlesztett Lancet drón.
