Abstract

In the recent years, artificial intelligence has become one of the key technologies of our time. Its decisive and lifestyle-changing role, as well as the dynamic pace of its development, is indicated by the fact that AI-based tools and systems that previously existed only in the scientific, fantastic literature and presented a futuristic vision have already come to reality, such as self-driving cars or social robots that can interact with people. In our article, we review the major historical landmarks of artificial intelligence.
