Germany hosted the largest Allied Air Forces exercise in NATO’s history ever in Europe from 12 to 23 June 2023. Under the Air Defender 23 exercise, organised in the spirit of transatlantic solidarity, around 10,000 soldiers from 25 nations used 250 aircraft to conduct air operations. At the large-scale exercise of the Allied Air Forces, the Hungarian Air Force was represented by 5 fighter aircraft and 48 personnel.
