A Gamma–Juhász légvédelmi lőelemképzők

Abstract

In the field of the development of air defense sighting devices, Gamma-Juhász’s predictors and mechanical gun director computers have become internationally recognized devices, which are the pride of our technical and industrial history, as their development and production required serious expertise and innovative thinking. The domestic introduction of the precision mechanical and optical industry and the precision manufacturing technology is largely due to this product. The patents registered by István Juhász and the Gamma factory have increased the international recognition of Hungarian engineers and the Hungarian military industry. In his study, the author briefly presents the development process and refers to the military and technical significance of the results achieved.
