The Totalförsvarets Forskningsinstitut of Sweden published two books in 2019 and 2020, which analysed the effects of the A2AD capabilities of the Russian Federation, installed in Kaliningrad Oblast, on the defence of the three NATO allies (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) in the Baltics, and the free use of the Baltic Sea. This article introduces, analyses, and complements the findings of the books.
