Abstract

ABSTRACT: In February 2019, the Israeli Rafael Advanced Defense Systems
released a video of a test shot of a new modular missile launcher developed
for the Spike NLOS multi-purpose, multi-platform, electro-optical guided missile system. Built on a light carrier vehicle and capable of destroying ground
targets beyond the line of sight, the missile launching system transportable
by air will improve the combat capability of ground contingents and special
operations forces.
