Abstract

Haiyan Hu, a new honorary member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, gave his inaugural lecture on deployable structures in China’s space missions in June. During the presentation and the subsequent panel discussion, other interesting aspects of China’s space exploration activity currently in its exciting new era, and major Chinese space plans for the near future were also discussed.
