Tanks are one of the most important combat tools of the land forces, so they play an important role in fighting, although some experts no question their decisive nature. Over time, the designers improved the tank more and more, as they had to meet the requirements set by the users. The experiences gained during the battlefield application therefore basically determine the direction of the developments, so they are almost continuous. This is also the reason why different versions of each type can be encountered at the same time. It is not always possible to access real data, therefore, after presenting the 11 most modern types, the author does not set up an order between the tanks. The described types have different, outstanding abilities in each area, so they represent almost the same combat value in terms of abilities.
