Abstract

The name of John von Neumann resonates with nearly everyone; however, the intricacies of his life’s work remain largely unfamiliar to the majority. Regrettably, during the evaluation of his scientific legacy, the significance of his military technological contributions are frequently underestimated or outright disregarded. Within this context, the present commemoration of Neumann’s 120th birth anniversary, as a Hungarian-born genius, offers a prime occasion to enlighten the reader about his remarkable achievements through the lens of this rediscovered dimension.
