The tasks of engineer troops are very diverse; they have to support the maneuvers of their own troops, hinder the enemy’s movements and participate in protection of own forces. These tasks require different special engineer machines with different capabilities. Several countries have recognized the need to involve into service those engineer machines that can perform wide range of tasks even under enemy fire, special battlefield and terrain conditions.
