The anatomy of geomagnetic storms and their consequences

Abstract

The study presents in detail the course of the geomagnetic storm, its main phases, and the possibility of scaling, and also highlights the possible consequences of the geomagnetic storm. It examines the mechanism of generation of crustal currents in the event of a geomagnetic storm and the dangers they cause. Finally, it provides an overview of some historically significant geomagnetic storms and presents the phenomena observed in connection with them.
