A Hungarian military industrial – The Gestamen

Abstract

The authors’ aim is to present the Gestamen family of weapons (pistol, submachine gun, machine gun, machine rifle, projectile launcher, the dual-function Mantis, and the grenade launcher), developed as an innovative military technology system, and the short-, medium- and strategic plans of the Hungarian-owned defence company. The paper also covers the importance of vocational training and the activities of the Diana Weapons Technology College and Technical College. The authors have prepared this study
following a personal visit to the company’s headquarters in Csongrád, it was prepared following their professional discussion with CEO Gábor Bozó.
