Investigating the effectiveness of modern cumulative charges

Abstract

The modern solutions in the blasting technique are vital conditions of efficiency and safety. In some special cases the 3D printers provide enormous benefits in this field. The tested shaped charges were made only of plastic, and they are capable to penetrate a medium calibre artillery projectile’s body. The other outcome of the tests shows us that the efficiency of „jet” is decreasing significantly inside the projectile, which improves the possibilities of safe utilization.
