The study follows up some of the early torpedoes from 19th centuries. Louis Brennan was on of the most ingenieus mechanical inventor of the victorian age. The Brennan’s torpedo used as the first practical guided missile for protection of the England’s harbors and naval stations. The mechanism of the weapon applied a very unique wire driving and controlling device. Some exclusive inventions of Brennan are the gyroscope stabilized monorail and the first gyrocopter too.
