Change of crash safety reliability depending on the age of the vehicle

Abstract

From the beginning, motor traffic was accompanied by a need for safety. In addition to economy and long-term reliability, users also consider road safety to be an important consideration when choosing their vehicles. The present study examines the relationship between this reliability and safety over the life of a vehicle, with a particular focus on the safety risks posed by corrosion. This is a particularly important issue for the military, as the reliability status of their vehicles clearly determines the reliability and predictability of the entire system.
