The mining of celestial bodies is increasingly coming to the fore as some states have already clarified the ownership of resources at national level. In contrast, in international space law, it is doubtful whether space resources can be subject to property rights. Humanity has already taken possession of samples for scientific purposes, but their quantity and the frequency of missions indicate that industrial-scale extraction is not yet in the near future.
