Csaba B. Stenge (PhD) graduated from the University of Pécs as a history major, and he pursued his PhD studies as a full time student in the same place.
He has been working in the Tatabánya City Archives since 2009, and since 2011 he is the director of the institution.
He published 10 independent books and about 120 academic papers in a number of languages. His researches in the area of history and military history extend to the history of the Hungarian armed forces between 1938 and 1945 – with special regard to the air forces and the events of the armed territorial revision – the Communist retributions of the fifties, the history of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the history of the 20th century Hungarian diaspora, and the international history of the air power in the 20th and 21st centuries, and also to certain aspects of terrorism and the asymmetric warfare.
